In this sports comedy, Carl is forced to question his idea of masculinity when an obsession with a mysterious new member of his badminton club spirals out of control.
Carl is the king of the court, his bulging muscles and bushy moustache making him alpha-male at the charity tournament. But then he spots a mysterious new player in the changing room; Morgan Silk.
Morgan is slim, delicate, and a dab hand at badminton. An attempt to show up Morgan backfires on Carl, leaving him embarrassed and angry.
Morgan’s effeminate but effective technique captivates the players, launching Carl into a race to prove he’s the better man. As he and Morgan climb the scoreboards, Carl falls into a testosterone-fuelled rage, ostracizing himself from the players who worship Morgan’s softer racket skills.
